Consumer Protection

Your Rights Under CROA

The Credit Repair Organizations Act protects you. Here's what you're entitled to — and how CreditForge complies with every provision.

⚖️ Right to Self-Dispute

You have the right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report without the help of a credit repair organization. You may contact the three nationwide consumer reporting agencies directly:

📋 Free Annual Credit Report

You have the right to a free copy of your credit report from each of the three agencies once every 12 months.

💰 No Upfront Fees

Under CROA, a credit repair organization cannot charge you before performing any services.

CreditForge's commitment: We never charge upfront fees. Payment is only collected after work has been completed on your behalf. Our pricing is transparent — see our pricing page for details.

📝 Written Contract Required

You must receive a written contract before any credit repair services begin. The contract must include:

  • The total cost of all services
  • A detailed description of the services to be performed
  • An estimate of how long the services will take
  • The company's name and business address
  • A statement of your right to cancel

🔄 3-Day Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel your contract within 3 business days of signing, without any charge or penalty. This is a federal right that cannot be waived.

CreditForge honors this right fully. To cancel, email [email protected] or call (213) 695-7555 within 3 business days of enrollment.

🚫 Honest Representation

Credit repair organizations are prohibited from making false or misleading claims. No company can guarantee a specific credit score increase — results depend on your individual credit situation.

CreditForge's commitment: We never guarantee specific point increases. We show real client results transparently on our results page, but every case is different.

📣 Right to File Complaints
